How safe is my pet’s procedure?

Each individual procedure will vary from pet to pet and condition to condition. As with humans, the older the individual the more precaution needs to be taken. Typically, a physical examination, review of the patient's medical history and blood work are recommended. These precautions are required with our patients that are over 6 years of age. These precautions will make a procedure as safe as possible with a senior pet.

At Animal Hospital Associates, we pride ourselves on providing friendly, informative, personalized service to our clients and premium, compassionate, loving care for our patients.

Whether it's preventive care or major surgery, we utilize the safest, most current, and most effective products available.

Our Boarding Facilities are located completely indoors. Available are: Runs for Large Breed to Giant Breed canine companions. Small, medium and large cages for every size from Tea Cup to Large Breed canine companions. Upon request, your small to medium size canine companion family members can board together in a large cage or run to keep each other company while you're away. We utilize a separate Feline Boarding Room so your feline companion can relax without canine interaction.

Small to medium cages are available in the Feline Boarding Room. So rain or shine, Winter or Summer, your canine or feline companion will be in climate controlled comfort when boarding with Animal Hospital Associates.

Dr. Whitlock has a special interest in Orthopedic Surgery including Fracture Repair, F.H.O., Cranial Cruciate Repair, Patella Luxation Repair, and Hip Luxation Reduction.

He also displays a special interest in Holistic Oncology, offering alternative treatment options for Mast Cell Tumor, Urinary Bladder Adenocarcinoma, and Osteosarcoma. Alternative therapies may provide improved and prolonged quality of life for your pet.
